Coated Medical Sterilization Paper

Napol Global coated medical sterilization paper is designed for reliable sealing and controlled opening performance, particularly on high-speed automated packaging and FFS lines. A heat-sealable coating is applied to 60 g/m² and 80 g/m² medical base paper at coating weights ranging from 3 g/m² to 12 g/m², depending on the application requirements.

The specially patterned grid coating supports air evacuation during heat sealing and contributes to efficient packaging performance. Available in grades suitable for ethylene oxide and gamma sterilization processes, the product can be used with PET/PE, PP/PE and compatible polyethylene-based film structures to achieve controlled sealing and peel performance. Produced within an ISO 13485 quality management system, the material supports reliable seal integrity and controlled opening under appropriate packaging conditions.

Technical Information

Product Advantages

The grid-pattern coating supports air evacuation during heat sealing and contributes to efficient processing on high-speed packaging lines.
The coating structure facilitates visual inspection of the seal area.
When used with suitable films and validated process parameters, controlled peel performance helps reduce the risk of fiber tear and particle generation during opening.
