PP-, OPP- and BOPP-based silicone-coated films are used as release films during the production, winding, cutting and application stages of adhesive products. They are preferred in applications requiring balanced mechanical behavior, a smooth surface and process compatibility.

PP/BOPP silicone-coated film provides a smooth surface, controlled release and stable winding performance in tape, label and lamination processes. The film structure should be evaluated according to the adhesive system and process temperature.
PP/BOPP silicone-coated film can be used in self-adhesive labels, single-sided tape, double-sided tape, transfer tape, packaging, protective film, technical lamination and industrial adhesive products.
PP-based structures are preferred for general industrial applications. OPP and BOPP structures can provide a smoother surface, more controlled film behavior and, in some applications, better mechanical stability. The appropriate product should be selected by evaluating the application together with the adhesive type.
