PE-Coated Paper Release Liner

A PE-coated paper release liner for pressure-sensitive adhesive applications requiring moisture resistance, surface smoothness and controlled release performance.

PE-coated release paper is produced by applying polyethylene to the paper substrate, followed by a silicone release coating on the PE surface. The PE layer supports surface smoothness, moisture resistance and dimensional stability, while the silicone coating provides controlled and repeatable release in pressure-sensitive adhesive systems.

Key Advantages

The PE-coated construction combines the mechanical properties of paper with the moisture resistance and smoothness of polyethylene. Uniform silicone coating supports consistent release performance and reliable web handling on high-speed converting lines.

Applications

Industrial tapes, foam tapes, graphic applications, protective films, surface-protection materials, pressure-sensitive adhesive components and lamination processes.

Product Selection

Base-paper basis weight, PE-coating construction, silicone-coated side, adhesive system, target release force, winding direction and line conditions should be evaluated together.
