Double-Sided Silicone-Coated Release Paper

A double-sided silicone-coated release paper designed for transfer tapes, double-sided tapes and pressure-sensitive adhesive applications requiring controlled release from both surfaces.

Both sides of the paper are silicone coated, making the liner suitable for double-sided adhesive systems, transfer tapes, foam tapes and lamination processes.

The two surfaces can be engineered with identical or different release forces. In differential-release constructions, one side provides an easier release while the opposite side maintains a higher release force, allowing controlled unwinding, lamination and application sequencing throughout the converting process.

Differential Release

In double-sided silicone-coated release papers, each surface can be engineered to provide a different release force according to the application requirements. This construction enables controlled liner removal from the intended side and supports defined release sequencing in transfer-tape and double-sided adhesive applications.

Applications

Transfer tapes, double-sided tapes, foam tapes, lamination applications, pressure-sensitive adhesive components and specialized converting processes.

Product Selection

Base paper, adhesive system, target release force on each side, application sequence, winding direction, die-cutting requirements and roll dimensions should be evaluated together when selecting the appropriate release liner.
