Silicone-Coated PE Film

PE-based silicone-coated film solution for adhesive systems requiring flexibility, surface conformability and controlled release performance.

PE silicone-coated film is a film release liner produced by applying silicone coating to LDPE- or HDPE-based film. The PE base offers advantages in processes requiring flexibility, elongation and surface conformability.

It is preferred in hygiene products, medical adhesive products, protective-film applications, flexible laminations and special adhesive systems.

Key Advantages

Thanks to its flexible structure, PE silicone-coated film offers advantages in applications requiring surface conformability. Film deformation, winding behavior, adhesive compatibility and release force should be selected according to the application.

Applications

PE silicone-coated film can be used in hygiene products, medical adhesive products, protective films, flexible tape applications, packaging components and certain lamination processes.

Difference Between LDPE and HDPE

LDPE-based structures provide a softer and more flexible character, while HDPE-based structures can offer a firmer and more durable film behavior. The appropriate choice should be made according to the product’s application area and process conditions on the production line.
